Hamilton, New JerseyConsolidated Services Group, Inc. (CSG) announced today that it has been awarded a full accreditation from URAC for its Case Management and Health Utilization Management Product. URAC is a Washington, DC-based health care accrediting organization that establishes quality standards for the health care industry. CSG has held URAC Accreditation for its Case Management and Utilization Management Products since 1999, and re-accreditation is required by the Organization every three (3) years.

 

CSG’s Preferred Provider Network, CHN PPO, received full accreditation from URAC for Health Network with Credentialing Standards in October 2007. CHN PPO was the first independent PPO in New Jersey to be accredited by URAC in 1995 and has continued to hold accreditation since that time..

URAC’s Accreditation standards set the bar on health and managed care accreditation. The accreditation standards include benchmarks for Case Management, Utilization Management, Quality Management and improvement and consumer protection. Currently, 38 states and the federal government have designated URAC accreditation as a leading industry standard and in many instances “deem” URAC to meet state regulatory requirements.
