June 4, 2012CSG University Will Host a Free Medical Seminar on Platelet Rich Plasma Injections

Lansdale, PA (June 4, 2012) Consolidated Services Group, Inc. (CSG), a technology-driven, clinically-based medical claims management provider, will offer a free seminar and webinar, “Platelet Rich Injections,” as part of its CSG University educational seminar series. Matthew D. Pepe, M.D., physician at the Rothman Institute, assistant professor of orthopaedic surgery at Thomas Jefferson University and Hospital, and assistant team orthopaedic physician of the Philadelphia Eagles, will present the program.

Platelet rich plasma (PRP) is a new treatment used to speed recovery from injuries to tendons and ligaments. Because it can promote healing and provide an alternative to surgery, PRP has been increasingly used by professional athletes eager for a quick return to the game after an injury. In the CSG University webinar, Dr. Pepe will discuss PRP and its applications for treating patients injured on the job and in auto accidents.

Missy Pudimott, Vice President of Strategic Partnering for Consolidated Services Group said, “CSG is pleased to present this informative and highly relevant program. We expect strong attendance from our clients, partners and colleagues, along with our own medical staff. All attendees will gain important knowledge to enrich the guidance they provide to clients.”

CSG University is an educational webinar series offered to clients, partners and professional colleagues of Consolidated Services Group and its subsidiary CHN PPO, a URAC-accredited preferred provider organization. Upcoming seminar topics include medical transport, acupuncture and burn care. Attendees can attend the conference in person or via webinar and may be eligible for continuing education credits.
